Is the AI Agent a chatbot or a voice agent?

How is this different from the IVR or voicebot we already have?

The AI Agent runs on the OpenAI Realtime API, which lets it natively understand and respond in more than 10 languages, for example English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The caller's language is detected automatically, with no language-selection IVR. Other languages are available on request for specific multilingual deployments.

Where is call data stored? Is it used to train the model?

Call data stays in your Microsoft tenant and in the Azure region you choose (EU, United States, United Kingdom, APAC, etc.). Your calls are never used to train the base models. You keep retention policy, audit trail, and the right to erasure. GDPR-compliant by design.
